In late March 2025, Chexy made a big splash by expanding its offerings allowing for new opportunities for sustainable earning - supporting credit card payment of personal taxes and multiple new types of payment methods for bills. Today they launched a new relationship with Aeroplan that makes it even more beneficial to do so.

As always you can find more Referral options and Disclaimers at the end of the article.

New Accounts x Aeroplan

New accounts as of 15 April 2025, whether you sign up through a referral link (such as ours) which benefits both you and the referrer or just on their website (miss out on $15 in their standard referral program), you will be greated by the following new offer.

This is in addition to the points you'll earn on whichever card you use.

Old Accounts x Aeroplan

Recently opened an account with the big push for Chexy Tax? Fortunately we aren't completely left out, although the total number of points earnable is lower, accounts opened before the 15th of April are still eligible for a promotion from their account page.

Again in addition to whatever you'd earn on your card. Full conditions for both offers available here.

Referral x Aeroplan

The best news is that all of these spend related bonuses are in addition to the current referral program, plus they are adding an extra 1k AP points to the referrer. As always we greatly appreciate people using our referral links as it helps support us to create free content and take free consult calls. You can find our current referral link here.

Our Take

Chexy was already one of a short list of top sustainable techniques for earning points. They have just added a way for existing users to get up to 4k AP points, and new users to get up to 10k. I wish they extended the 10k offer to people who opened in the last 3 weeks during their launch of Chexy tax, but honestly the program was more than good enough without it, and I'm happy that they at least are offering 4k.

For people like us who get amazing value from our points it may seem crazy how low the fee is and for them to add a bonus on top of it seems even more insane. But we need to remember that most people will be using a core tier card like the TD AP VI earning 1x of a variable value point with no fixed floor and often redeeming for 1.5c, 1c, or even less per point. This contrasts to people like us who will use it to hit big subs via a lump sum or will pick the highest earning sustainable card for ongoing use. And then we will use tools like Roame or Pointsyeah to maximize our redemptions. We are the 1%er's of redeeming and this just made a great thing even greater. So if you haven't signed up yet, please do so using our link.
