New Account Promo
New business accounts made through our exclusive referral link before Dec 31st 2025 will be eligible for the current best small business offer. This offer can earn you as much as 100k Aeroplan points on top of whatever your credit card and other promotions earn you. What have I done to advocate further for businesses? I've encouraged Chexy to apply a smoothing/averaging approach to the spend thresholds to avoid unfairly penalizing those who pay quarterly installments vs those who do monthly. I also laid the initial groundwork for them to accept professional licensing info for non incorporated professionals who work as sole proprietors and helped them launch corporate tax payments.

Amex Promo
This one is a long term one, for the next year there are monthly point bonuses you can earn as an amex user on Chexy. This is yet another reason to favour Amex on Chexy beyond the fact that they have tighter integration leading to more clear transaction labeling on your statements. You don't have to register for this one, you'll just see the points in your account.
For personal Amex card holders (gold, platinum, and aeroplan reserve... also the Centurion and Air Canada invite only cards if you're a baller!) you can earn up to 500pts a month for spending $2k/mo via their personal amex card promo.
Business card holder? The promo is even better
Contrary to how the promotional material is written it looks as though a single large transaction can trigger both point amounts as you'll see a full 1k bonus for a transaction over $4k below.
What Card to Use?

Those with big spend should reach out to me to discuss even better offers, For the uncertain, using a card that earns 4% back on the first $25k in recurring payments (chexy payments trigger this) like the Scotia Momentum VI is a great choice, but for those who learn how to maximize their rewards, variable value points that can book business class tickets are often more appealing. Given the promos available I would certainly consider an Amex product.
